Secondly, the council organizes events in order to facilitate mingling of PhD candidates from different groups. WebShe is a former Chair of the IOP’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee and served on the IOP Council from 2009-13. She was an external expert on the IOP project ‘Opening Doors’ (a project to examine school culture from a gender perspective) and served on the Institute’s Project JUNO assessment panel. She chaired the Athena Forum from 2016-2024.
